EPST Selection Tools and Services


European Pilot Selection & Training (EPST) is a JAR approved TRTO (NL-TRTO-37/1). In addition to training, EPST offers various selection tools and services. All tools run on a standard PC with off-the-shelf joystick/rudder pedals. These tests have been especially designed to provide airlines or FTOs with an easy to administer and easy to interpret set of reports relating to aptitude, personality and/or technical comprehension.
1. Compass Our ab initio aptitude test COMPASS is available in any of our selection centers, and assesses the aptitude of individual candidates. All FTO's can license COMPASS and run it from their own location. The results of all COMPASS modules are instantly available to you.
2. Advanced Compass The objective of Advanced COMPASS is to assess pilots prior to selection by an airline in order to provide an overall assessment of the general skills of candidates. Advanced COMPASS can be used in your location and the results will be instantly available for your assessment. Although Advanced-COMPASS is typically for Airlines and TRTO's also FTOs may want their students to complete the Advanced-COMPASS tests upon completion of training in order to bolster their students subsequent application to an airline. Advanced-COMPASS can be made available at any location.
3. Checklist Professional Profile (CPP) - Psychometric test This psychometric test is licensed to EPST by the Institute for Aviation Psychology (specialist aviation psychologists) for use and distribution by EPST. In combination with COMPASS or Advanced COMPASS this product may be licensed for use by Airlines or FTOs.
NOTE: Results from COMPASS, Advanced COMPASS and CPP (psychometric test) are processed via the internet and made available immediately after the test is completed.
