EPST AVIATION ENGLISH COURSE

The International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) has recognized the importance of improving communication between pilots and air traffic controllers. All pilots who fly internationally and all air traffic controllers who provide services to international flights are required to reach a minimum level of English language proficiency, defined as Operational Level 4. This level must be demonstrated by March 5th 2008.

THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED FOR:
  • international pilots, dispatchers  and air traffic controllers desiring to reach ICAO operational level 4 before March 2008
  • intermediate level or ICAO proficiency currently identified as Level 3 or level 2

EPST in partnership with Mayflower College (www.maycoll.co.uk) provide the following language services:

Our courses are tailor-made according to our individual client’s needs.

Studying through the internet can be a very flexible and relatively cheap part of the solution to learning English. The Aviation English program at www.study-english-online.com contains 50 modules delivered over a 50-week period. Each module contains grammar exercises, vocabulary exercises based on the ICAO Document 9835, video and audio exercises.

Aviation English testing

  • Benchmark language assessment.
Initial language assessment to establish current English language levels and future training needs.
  • English language proficiency testing for licensing purposes.

EPST is one of the accredited testing centers for Mayflower College. Our trained personnel use an internationally recognized language proficiency test for licensing purposes  – TEA (Test of English for Aviation), is not a test of operational competence – it is a test of English ability in an aviation context. It takes a form of a 20-minute, face-to-face interview.
