EPST Selection Tools and Services
European Pilot Selection & Training (EPST) is a JAR approved (NL-TRTO-37/1) Type Rating Training Organization (TRTO). EPST provides a number of services and products to airlines and Flying Training Organizations (FTOs). All these services and "tools" are the result of many years' experience, and the excellent team of specialists available to EPST.
Airline & TRTO Services
1. Pilot selection Initial screening and pre-grading or a complete pilot selection is available to airlines.

2. Selection Tools/Products and Services
The tools (Advanced-COMPASS, 10-F-P, etc.) can be licensed for use by airlines. Advanced-COMPASS is available in various languages.

3. Airline Jet Foundation Course (AJFC)
This course will prepare your candidate for type rating, using your own SOP's. This course represents a cost-effective final selection in order to identify suitable candidates for your jet type rating course.

4. Introduction to Line Training
This course, fully interactive, is designed for those who have been selected to become Line Training Captains with their Airline.

5. Advanced Instructor Refresher Course
This is a one-day, fully interactive course, run by an instructor for current trainers. The course represents a refresher course for all Training captains and a standardisation course for Training Captains who exercise Grandfather rights. This Refresher Course deals with all aspects of the JAA TRI Course. It allows Trainers to develop their skills and provides a greater understanding of the skills they should have acquired on their TRI Course.

6. Pre-COMMAND Preparation Course
This is a 5-day course, including 3 days of ground school where the concept of command is discussed. This is followed by a 2 day simulator course where the future Captain can put into practice the theory which has been learnt in ground school. It is a fully interactive course, designed for those Senior First Officers who have been selected to become Captains with their Airline. The concept behind this course is to give future Captains a foundation in command training, rather than launching them into the left-hand seat without thorough training in the differences between the right- and left-hand seat.
FTO Services
1. Ab-initio selection for FTO´s
Selecting your candidate pilots will dramatically improve overall quality and training efficiency. Selection helps promote recognition by airlines and provides a profile of a candidate's "strengths and weaknesses".

2. Selection Tools/Products and Services
The tools (COMPASS, 10-F-P, etc.) may be licensed for use by FTO's. COMPASS is available in various languages.

3. Airline Jet Foundation Course (AJFC)
This course represents the completion of training for your candidates and will be an excellent preparation for applying to an airline.
Pilot (and prospective pilot) Services "Why selection"?
Before spending a large sum of money to buy a house, would you not obtain a structural survey first? Why not have the same security and feedback on your own future?

1. Ab initio selection for individual candidates Initial screening or a complete selection process is available for individual candidates.

2. Airline Jet Foundation Course (AJFC)
Obtaining a license and being ready for an airline are two totally different things. If you have obtained your licence and want to apply to an airline this AJFC course may just make the difference in obtaining the job. A recent survey showed that all participating airlines required some "Bridge" (JOC or AJFC) course for all low-time pilots in order to even consider them for a Jet Type Rating.
